Compassionate Service Society (CSS) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in southern California. We are also known as Hội Từ Bi Phụng Sự in Vietnamese. CSS was founded by Master Hang Truong in 2002. By integrating the ancient teachings of Buddhism with the best of 21st century thoughts, practices, philosophies, and knowledge, CSS seeks to bring unity and healing to the body, mind and spirit.

Năm 2002, Thầy Ce (Hằng Trường) thành lập hội CSS với tâm nguyện có thể kết hợp tinh hoa đạo bồ tát với trí tuệ của thế kỷ 21, trong mọi lãnh vực từ tư duy, tu trì, tới triết lý, văn hóa, để giúp cho thân, tâm, và linh tánh con người thời đại đạt tới chỗ hài hòa, siêu thoát. Vì thế hội CSS chủ trương con đường hàm dung, vượt ra ngoài những ranh giới do dị biệt văn hóa, tôn giáo tạo ra.
